Terms and Conditions


Payment Policies / Reservations

We offer a low deposit of only 10% to secure your place on the tour, including hotel accommodation, cruise cabin, domestic flights, and other travel-related services.

The remaining balance must be paid up to two days before your arrival date or in cash upon arrival at the destination to the Tour Manager (Tour Operator). This allows you to secure your reservation with a low initial payment.


Cancellation Policy (Excluding High-Demand Periods)

Cancellation requests must be submitted via email to provide Egypt Karoft Tours with written confirmation of the cancellation.

In case of cancellation, the following cancellation fees will apply:

  • From the date of reservation up to 61 days before arrival: 10% of the total tour price.
  • Between 60 and 31 days before arrival: 25% of the total tour price.
  • Between 30 and 15 days before arrival: 50% of the total tour price.
  • Between 14 days and 1 day before arrival: 100% of the total tour price.
  • Additional costs and fees related to domestic and international flights are subject to the terms and conditions of the respective airlines at the time of booking.


Cancellation Policy for Christmas, New Year, and Easter

For reservations during Christmas, New Year, and Easter periods, the following cancellation fees will apply:

  • From the date of reservation up to 61 days before arrival: 25% of the total tour price.
  • Between 60 and 31 days before arrival: 50% of the total tour price.
  • Between 30 and 15 days before arrival: 75% of the total tour price.
  • Between 14 days and 1 day before arrival: 100% of the total tour price.
  • Additional costs and fees related to domestic and international flights are subject to the terms and conditions of the respective airlines at the time of booking.


Refunds

  • Refunds will normally be made to the same account using the original payment method.
  • Refunds are subject to the applicable cancellation policy and any non-refundable costs charged by suppliers.
  • The refund will be processed according to the original payment method.


Accommodation

Unless otherwise stated, prices are based on two people sharing one room (double occupancy).

Single rooms are available for an additional supplement.

Hotels and accommodations are selected based on the best available quality and availability at the time of booking. If the specified hotel is unavailable, Egypt Karoft Tours reserves the right to provide accommodation of a similar standard and quality.

Published prices are based on the rates and costs available at the time of publication and are subject to change without prior notice due to changes in supplier prices, taxes, exchange rates, or other applicable costs.



Flights :

  • Domestic Flights

Domestic flight prices are estimated based on average fares and approximate flight times available at the time of quotation.

Requests for specific flight times or changes to previously arranged flights may result in an additional charge or a change in the total package price.

  • International Flights

International flights may be arranged upon request. Available fares and flight schedules depend on the airline and availability at the time of booking.

Your travel advisor will assist in selecting flights that match your scheduled itinerary, subject to availability and applicable airline terms and conditions.

  • Responsibility

Egypt Karoft Tours acts as a tour operator and travel service provider and may arrange transportation and travel services provided by third-party suppliers, including rail, cruise, airline, hotel, restaurant, and other transportation or service providers.

Egypt Karoft Tours is not responsible for injury, illness, damage, loss, accident, delay, or irregularities affecting persons or property resulting directly or indirectly from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Weather conditions
  • Acts of God
  • Force majeure
  • Acts of government or other authorities
  • War or civil disturbances
  • Labor disputes or strikes
  • Riots
  • Theft
  • Mechanical breakdowns
  • Quarantines or related governmental actions
  • Delays, cancellations, or changes made by hotels, carriers, restaurants, or other suppliers

Egypt Karoft Tours will make reasonable efforts to assist clients in resolving problems and arranging suitable alternatives where possible. However, additional costs resulting from circumstances beyond the company's reasonable control may be the responsibility of the client.


Special Requests

Clients must inform Egypt Karoft Tours of any special requests at the time of booking.

The company and its suppliers will make reasonable efforts to accommodate such requests; however, special requests are subject to availability and are not guaranteed unless expressly confirmed in writing as part of the booking.

Examples include specific hotel rooms, dietary requirements, preferred seating, connecting rooms, or other special arrangements.

Even if a supplier has been contacted regarding a special request, this does not guarantee that the request will be fulfilled unless Egypt Karoft Tours has expressly confirmed it as guaranteed in writing.

Reservations cannot be made conditional upon the fulfillment of any special request.


Policy for Children Sharing a Room with Their Parents

  • Policy 1: Packages, Nile Cruises, and Hotels
  • Children under 2 years old: Free of charge.
  • Children under 6 years old: 25% of the adult tour price.
  • Children under 12 years old: 50% of the adult tour price.
  • Children 12 years old and above: Considered adults.
  • If the travel package includes flights, an additional supplement may apply depending on the airline's child fare policy.
  • Policy 2: Sightseeing Tours and Land Excursions
  • Children under 6 years old: Free of charge.
  • Children under 12 years old: 50% of the adult tour price.
  • Children 12 years old and above: Considered adults.
  • An additional supplement may apply if the sightseeing tour includes domestic flights or ferries.


Tipping

Tipping is a personal expression of appreciation for the services provided by guides, drivers, and other service personnel.

Tipping is entirely at the client's discretion and is not mandatory. Clients are welcome to tip according to their satisfaction with the services received.


Claims / Customer Service

If you have any complaint, concern, or problem during your trip, please notify Egypt Karoft Tours as soon as possible while you are still at the destination.

Most issues can be resolved more quickly when reported immediately.

If the issue cannot be resolved during your trip, please contact the Egypt Karoft Tours Customer Service Team so that we can investigate the matter and provide appropriate assistance.

Any complaint regarding services provided during the trip should be reported as soon as reasonably possible to allow us and our suppliers an opportunity to resolve the issue.


General Conditions of Use

  • Persons under 18 years of age are prohibited from registering as users on our website and are not authorized to make transactions or use our website independently.
  • If you make a payment for our products or services through our website, the payment information you provide is transmitted directly to our payment provider through a secure connection.
  • For commercial and accounting purposes, the cardholder should retain a copy of the transaction and payment confirmation.
  • We accept online payments using Visa and MasterCard credit/debit cards, subject to the currencies and payment methods available on our website at the time of booking.
  • Customers are responsible for ensuring that their transactions comply with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Multiple transactions or reservations may result in multiple charges appearing on the cardholder's monthly statement.


Acceptance of Agreements

By making a reservation with Egypt Karoft Tours, the client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions.

Payment of the deposit or final balance by bank transfer, credit card, debit card, or any other accepted payment method constitutes confirmation that the client and all participants included in the reservation have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions and agree to be bound by them.

These Terms and Conditions, together with the booking confirmation and any specific conditions communicated at the time of booking, constitute the agreement between Egypt Karoft Tours and the client.
